If the tropical smell alone doesn’t make you a coconut oil addict, maybe it’s impressive list of benefits will. Coconut oil works miracles on dry skin, cuticles, adds shine to hair, and is even a natural heat protector. You can cook with it, plop a little on a jammed zipper, or use it in place of your lip balm. If you’re totally in love with this miracle ingredient then you’ll love this new product line I discovered.
So I’m pretty much on vacation all the time. Well not exactly vacation but I’m in tropical destinations pretty often but because of that two things happen to my skin. One, I get a really awesome tan … yay! BUT … two, I can get really dry skin. From being in the sun to my skin being on planes I can get really dry. I need great products while I’m in the sun but also when I’m flying and when I get back home to maintain not only my new tan but also keep my skin hydrated throughout the seasons. If you are trying to fix either of these two issues too, meet Kopari. Their coconut oil-based, multi-tasking goodies are natural, organic, cruelty-free and are made without parabens, GMOs, sulfates, or silicones. Here’s the scoop on some of the Kopari products I’ve been using:
The Coconut Sheer Oil is all about anti-aging. It works as a moisturizer, makeup remover, cuticle oil, and a tamer on flyways. You may think of coconut oil as being really heavy, but this one is really lightweight so its sheer enough to use as a face moisturizer.
I’m desperately trying to hold on to my Turks and Caicos tan so I’ve been using the Coconut Body Glow. It gives my skin a bit of sparkle and also works as a highlighter. I love using this before taking pictures because the sparkle in the product gives my skin a nice glow when the camera flashes.
If you are looking for something super hydrating, try the Coconut Balm it is my favorite multi-tasker. It’s an amazing moisturizer, especially if you’ve been out in the sun all day. This formula is a lot thicker than the sheer oil, so I like to use it as a hand and foot cream. My cuticles can get really dry as well as my heels, so I like to lather this on in the evening and put on a pair of socks and sleep … wake up, take off my socks and my soles feel so good!
Finally for the maximum uses try Kopari’s Organic Coconut Melt. My hair can get really dry from coloring and and styling it. About once a week, I put this on DRY hair (it soaks in better) and put a towel on my pillow. I wake up in the morning and wash it out and the coconut melt is the most hydrating hair mask you’ll ever try. It also works as a bath oil, massage oil, stretch mark preventer, and baby butter And its all natural, organic, cruelty-free and are made without parabens, GMOs, sulfates, or silicones.
Has anyone tried Kopari yet? Are you planning to? Let’s chat!

I am intrigued by this product! I love that it is organic. I have very pale skin and will be going down to Arizona next week – do you think the Body Glow would be too dark?
Ivana says:
Excited to try this product for my vacation!! Will you please share where the tan swimsuit is from. Also, do you have a tutorial or blog post on a Summer make up routine? Specifically, for a hot and humid climate? I can’t remember, if you did one last year.

It’s so bad that I’m on your site/Instagram all the time, I end up purchasing everything you post! Lol thanks for the info. I’ve tried coconut oil on my hair before and it’s super soft. But I think I will try this brand. I’ve previously tried a coconut oil from whole foods that you can cook with. This seems better especially since you recommend the coconut melt for your hair. Thanks Marianna.
