Creating a work-life balance hasn’t been easy, especially over the last two years. What’s been even more difficult is finding the time to create the perfect outfit formulas for taking from the office to any post-work activities. My schedule is hectic! While I’m grateful for everything I get the chance to do, I need my outfits to be just as flexible as my time, but I still need them to be chic. I’ve figured out what works best for me, and because you’ve all been asking, I’m delivering! Here are my go-to work outfit formulas.
Duster, Cropped Tee, Wide-Leg Jeans, & Booties
This might be my all-time favorite outfit combination. I love throwing on a duster over a top and a pair of cropped jeans. I’m currently obsessed with the wide-leg pants I designed in collaboration with DL 1961 and mix and match them with so many basics. They’re the perfect pair of jeans to use with this outfit formula, along with a pair of booties.
Blazer, Bodysuit, and Jeans
When I have a long day filled with meetings and maybe a team dinner, I like to throw a blazer on for a more professional touch. I never like dressing too on the corporate side, but I’d say that I’m always on the business casual side. This outfit combination works for day
Oversized Cardigan, Bodysuit, Coated Jeans, & Knee-High Boots
Since we are in the fall season after all, I love to keep it cozy. An oversized cardigan is a great go-to for the office days, and I like to pair mine with some skinny jeans and knee-high boots. Lately I’ve been loving the coated jeans from my collab as well, and I usually just pair them with a bodysuit.
Wrap Blouse, Statement Blouse, & Mules
Every now and then I like to step away from neutral colors and wear a statement piece or pattern. I’ve been a huge snakeskin fan this fall and these pants are one of my favorite pieces that I’ve worn this season. Pair your own snakeskin patterned pants with a silk blouse and some heels and you’ll mean serious business!
Ribbed Dress & Crisp White Shirt
Living in LA has it’s perks, and wearing dresses year-round is definitely one of them! Ribbed knit dresses are super form-flattering and still very comfortable. I like pairing mine with either an oversized shirt or jacket and some heels. If you live in a cooler climate, you can still rock this look in the form of a sweater dress or a long-sleeve version!
