I love wearing dresses year-round, but they’re especially fun to wear in the summer. (I might even consider them a necessity in places that get as hot as LA!) Even though I’m not wearing much outside of loungewear these days, I still enjoy casually scrolling through my favorite websites to search for dresses that I can wear on a vacation or around LA someday — when it’s safe to go travel and socialize, of course.
Below, check out some dresses that I’m loving for the summer season, even though I don’t have anywhere to wear them.
White & Ivory Sundresses
White and ivory sundresses are absolute staples for summer, especially ones that have a twirly skirt. These dresses are lightweight and ultra-flattering so that anyone can wear them. They’ll fit a variety of occasions, from a day at the beach to a safe, socially-distanced brunch.
Neutral Casual Dresses
Whether you’re running errands or running to your door to meet your Postmates driver, there is always a reason to have a few casual dresses on hand. Neutral palettes are a must for me, as all of you know, so this list is full of black, tan, olive, and cream dresses in casual cuts and fabrics.
Patterned & Colorful Dresses
Tie dye and animal print don’t seem to be going anywhere, so of course I had to pick out a few faves. And though I’m usually a neutral girl, I occasionally like branching out into more colorful hues like chambray blue and burnt orange.
I know, I know. You’re probably not going anywhere except from your couch to the kitchen, but on the off chance you’re going to an outdoor wedding or just want to have a fancy photoshoot at home, these dresses have you covered.
