My inbox has been flooded with requests from you all for a fall wardrobe roundup, and I’ve finally gotten to it! The fall is one of my favorite seasons when it comes to fashion, especially because of the cozy pieces we get to wear. Since I live in LA, fall isn’t too chilly for me but I still get to throw on some chunky knits and layers. I’ve rounded up my go-to pieces when it comes to dressing for fall, plus links for you to shop!
I love wearing sweaters during fall. Whether it’s a chunkier pullover, a turtleneck, or a light cardigan, they’re all perfect for layering and putting together different looks. My go-to combination in the fall is usually a sweater with a pair of jeans and boots—perfect for going from day to night.
You guys know that I can’t get enough of some good denim. The right pair of jeans can complete any outfit, and you can dress them up or down. I’ve added in some pieces from my collaboration with DL1961 that I wear with pretty much anything in my closet. Whether they’re cropped, flared, wide-leg, or distressed, the perfect pair of jeans can take you such a long way.
Jackets + Blazers
Fall is all about layering, and you can’t layer without jackets! When it’s not time for a heavy coast just yet, light jackets can really elevate your overall look. You can choose from denim to leather to suede—you name it. I also love pairing my outfits with a chic blazer throughout the season. The trend of the moment is oversized blazers, so what better time to give it a try than now?
Just because the weather has cooled down doesn’t mean that you can’t wear dresses. I use this time of year as an opportunity to wear long-sleeve dresses or sweater dresses. I’ve found some great options that have both bodycon and loose fits. Pair these with your favorite pair of boots and you’re good to go!
Speaking of boots, I can’t enough of them during the fall. I mostly gravitate towards booties because they’re great for pairing with anything. I also like the opportunity to wear a chunky heel every now and then when I’m not in the mood to wear super high heels. I’m really into both neutrals and prints when it comes to booties!
