For so many of us we are social distancing or quarantined right now. There is no right way to feel or what to be doing. Take this time to do whatever it is that makes you feel good. For myself, I’ve been trying to stay active while I’ve been at home. It has really been helping me for the last week and I hopefully will continue to do it during this time.
There are a few different apps, programs and websites that I like and some equipment I use at home to do them all! You can find all the items here and for most of these programs, this is all the equipment I need. For some, you don’t need any at all! But a yoga mat definitely helps.
MELISSA WOOD HEALTH
For me, Melissa’s workouts are so calming. She has such a relaxing demeanor that I enjoy the time I spend hearing her guide me through pilates, yoga and stretching. Her classes are all about long lean lines and I mostly use my 1lb Bala weights for her workouts. You can also do them without equipment or using things you have at home like chairs.
THE SCULPT SOCIETY
When I want to get energy going and really get my heart rate up, Megan’s workouts work best for me. She has dance cardio that makes working out at home really fun – or you can just do sculpt if dance isn’t your thing. There are so many options on her app and I’m really into them!
PILATES BY AMANDA
If you follow me on instagram, you have probably seen me post with my trainer Amanda. She is based in Los Angeles and has a private studio, but since we are practicing social distancing she’s starting an online class where she shares new workouts daily. This is a great chance to get to workout with my trainer!
There are so many more apps and programs that I love and there are tons of free workouts you can find on youtube and Pinterest! Here are a few more to try:
