Have you been in a funk lately? You can likely blame it on the retrograde. If you didn’t know, Mercury has gone retrograde until August 19th so brace yourselves, my friends. Rather than getting yourself down in the dumps every time something weird happens, try your best to keep it together by following these steps. Let’s get through this together!
Don’t Make Any Impulse Decisions
It’s so easy for us to freak out about something and make impulse decisions, but not during Mercury retrograde. Take a step back, and a deep breath while you’re at it, and think about how every decision will impact you later on. Don’t get yourself into any situations that you can’t turn around from.
Avoid Large Purchases
Enjoy nice things from afar until Mercury goes direct. The last thing you want to do is splurge on an expensive purchase, and then get yourself into financial trouble. Instead, use this time to save up a nice chunk of change and see if you still have your eye on the prize later on.
Think Before You Speak
The same way you don’t want to make any impulse decisions or purchases, you don’t want to make impulse comments either. Saying things you can’t take back is one terrible way to get yourself into hot water, and during retrograde people take things more personal than usual. Be mindful of what you’re saying and more gentle with your words.
Take Everything With A Grain Of Salt
Don’t take everything so literally during this weird period. With so many things falling out of place and going left, there’s too much room for error for your expectations to be high. If things don’t go as planned, just let it roll and move on.
Check On Your Friends
Your friends are probably going through it as well, so make some time to check in with them. Retrograde is surprisingly a good time to reminisce with people, as long as it’s not with any exes of course! However, catching up with friends and getting a good laugh is never a bad idea.
How do you deal with Mercury retrograde? Let me know in the comments!
