Do you do it for the gram? That’s ok because we all do it. If you are visiting Los Angeles or even if you live here, you might be looking for restaurants that are the most instagram worthy. I wanted to leave this post as a place where I could continuously update it with more restaurants, so bookmark this page and check back for updates. For true instagram-worthy-ness, all photos are taken on an iPhone.
113 N Robertson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048
The Ivy is an old Los Angeles staple found on North Robertson Blvd. In the cool days of Kitson, you could see every celebrity stopping by here for lunch to get paparazzi’d on the way out. Reserve a table ahead of time especially on the weekends and be sure to request to sit outside. When you arrive you can have a glass of champagne or a strawberry lemonade while you wait. For dessert, be sure to order the red velvet cake and the key lime pie.
8905 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood, CA 90069
Gracias Madre is a plant based (vegan) Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood. I know what you’re thinking, a vegan Mexican restaurant? What about the queso and the sour cream! I feel your pain. Surprisingly, a lot of the food is really tasty as long as you don’t expect to have your usual Mexican feast. I’ll be honest I don’t really love the food here but the chips and guacamole along with the drinks are enough to get me here. Besides that, it is super instagramable.
tip: when hitting this spot, you can go to three instagrammy places all at once. Stop by at Verve next door and Au Fudge across the street.
LADURÉE AT THE GROVE
189 The Grove Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90036
Ladurée is a favorite restaurant of mine from Paris. My Mom and I have been eating, getting tea and desserts at the locations in France for many years and they finally opened up in Los Angeles. There are currently two locations; The Grove and Beverly Hills with locations opening soon at Americana and in Orange County. If you want to go somewhere for the most photogenic desserts this is your place. If you want to eat, you’ll need to make a reservation ahead of time. But if you’re just getting dessert, you can wait in line and order them.
