Fall is officially on our minds, and that means new fall fashion picks. My favorite part of entering a new season is seeing what trends stick, which ones don’t, and which ones are still going strong. I’m getting ready to make some new additions to my closet just in time for the fall season, and of course, wanted to share my picks with you all. Ahead you’ll find the pieces you should purchase for fall if you haven’t already.
Everyone needs a leather jacket by the time fall rolls around. It’s the one jacket that can go with you from day to night, no matter what your plans are. This staple piece is also transitional enough to wear with everything from a chunky knit sweater to a slip dress.
Whether you choose to invest in a pair of black ankle boots or go for a more affordable option, the options are endless. A small chunky heel is the classic way to go, but a higher height can also work with a lot of wardrobe essentials.
Of course, you’ll also need a pair of comfortable flats this season, and my favorite style for fall is a loafer. Backless or not, loafers work as part of business casual workwear and for everyday casual looks. I like both patterned and solid options to mix and match with my clothes.
Sweaters & Knits
Comfortable sweaters are my favorite thing to buy during fall and winter, and every year I find super cozy options. I like both fitted styles and oversized options, depending on what I feel like pairing my knits with.
You always need some solid denim options, no matter what season it is, but for fall I like to wear dark-wash jeans the most. I love cropped styles because of my height, along with both skinny and wide-leg options.
