Getting glammed up doesn’t mean that you have to spend a ton of money. As much as I love my more expensive beauty products, I actually stock up on a few of my favorites at the drugstore. Below, check out my top picks across different beauty categories so you can stock up on some goodies — without breaking the bank.
A couple of my favorite drugstore haircare brands are Kristin Ess and Tresemme. Both of brands create high quality, salon-grade products that help me style my hair effortlessly. I love natural-looking waves and textured volume, so products like Kristin Ess’ blow dryer and Tresemme’s Extra Hold Mousse are perfect for those styles.
Everyone knows how much I love Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover; I talk about it all the time, and it’s become an absolute necessity in my getting unready routine. I’m also a huge fan of Versed’s cleansing balm for taking my makeup off before using the Summer Fridays cleanser. For makeup, L’oreal’s Lash Paradise mascara is a personal favorite, and Milani’s baked blushes are some of the best shades in my collection.

While expensive body products can feel super luxurious to apply, you can actually get spa-like results at home. For example, body scrub treatments at Bliss Spas can be over $100, but you can buy the exact salt scrub that they use in their spas at Ulta for $15. Such a steal! Other favorite brands include CeraVe, Dove, and Nivea.
Especially now while we’re stuck at home, I’ve been getting better at doing my own nails. And even under normal circumstances, I like to be able to touch up my nails in between mani appointments. My all-time favorite color is Essie Ballet Slippers, a sheer neutral pink that goes with everything. If my nails are feeling a little weak due to gel polish peeling off, OPI Nail Envy helps strengthen them. And of course, no at-home manicure kit is complete without nail files and buffers and a hand cream.
