Coachella 2018 is right around the corner! I’ll be heading to the desert for the Weekend 1 festivities, and can’t wait to see a ton of the acts. One of my favorite things about Coachella is obviously shopping for the festival—this year’s trends are so good. I know how overwhelming shopping for festival season can get, so I’m breaking down everything you should definitely consider buying for this year. From the clothes down to the accessories, I’ve got you covered. Take a look at this year’s best festival fashion below.
A fun, flirty crop top definitely a staple for festival season. Show off your midriff in everything from lace to ruffles to solid hues. Not only are they super appropriate for the hot desert sun, they’re also versatile enough to wear with a ton of different options.
If you’re not into crop tops, stock up on some graphic tees instead. Whether it’s a vintage band t-shirt or an oversized style, this easy, breezy top is great for any music festival. You can get creative with some really fun designs here or pay tribute to your favorite musicians.
DENIM SHORTS & SKIRTS
Another closet staple is a great pair of denim shorts or if you prefer skirts, those are great too! They’re one of the easiest ways to stay comfortable and still on trend at a festival. Bring your favorites to Coachella with you and pair them with any top of your liking.
For the girls who love matching from head to toe, a cute matching set is excellent for Coachella. From shorts to skirts, and even flared pants, they’re all appropriate enough for dancing in the desert. Plus, a lot of them in cute patterns to make an edgier style statement.
Now let’s talk shoes! The most important thing for music festivals is wearing a pair of shoes that are comfortable since you’re literally on your feet the whole time. I love a great pair of canvas or leather sneakers, or a bootie with a lower heel that I know won’t kill my feet by the end of the night.
Of course no look is complete without the appropriate accessories. You can wear a hat for extra coverage from the sun, or to use as your statement piece. As for the right bag, you’ll want something where you can stash all of your belongings but isn’t too heavy to carry. A belt bag or a small backpack are perfect for walking through festival grounds. Whatever you do, don’t forget a pair of shades for the day’s sun and a bandana for when the sand hits at night.
