Designer bags are a splurge, there’s no question about that. I’ve done a lot of research to gather the most affordable bags offered right now by each designer label. They still carry a hefty price tag, but at least you have an idea of how much bang you can get for your buck if you save up. Happy shopping!
GUCCI
The most affordable Gucci bag is the Ophidia GG Supreme Canvas Zip Pouch for $630. It’s large enough to hold your phone, some cash, and a lipstick. The next most affordable bag by Gucci is the small GG Mormont bag and the Super Mini Metallic Leather Crossbody Bag.
SAINT LAURENT
Their pouches, camera bag and totes are some of my favorites. I use all of these on rotation in my closet. Their most affordable handbag is the Niki Quilted Leather Zip Pouch at $495, followed by the Baby Lou Quilted Leather Micro Crossbody Bag ( a personal favorite that I have in Black and Tan) at $725, and for a night out — the Calfskin Leather Clutch is so chic and timeless.
PRADA
Prada’s nylon bags are their most affordable, and so durable! I love mine so much. I wasn’t able to find a lot online but they have the most amount of options on their website. The Prada Re-Edition 2000 Nylon Mini Bag is one of my absolute favorites. If you are looking for a leather option, try the Saffiano Leather mini-bag at $850.
FENDI
They offer quite a range of bags under $1000 varying from pouches to totes – they had the most variety in the lower end of their designer price range. Starting with their Fendi x Joshua Vides Pouch at $590, a Terry Tote for $750 and a leather pouch for $850.
GIVENCHY
Givenchy’s cross body bags fall into their most affordable options. Starting with the Pocket Croc-Effect and Smooth Leather Shoulder Bag priced at $995. Next up is the Pandora Mini Shell Shoulder Bag, which has a square shape and a $1,190 price tag, and the GV Cross Metallic Textured-Leather and Suede Shoulder Bag ($1,290) and Eden Mini Leather Shoulder Bag ($1,350).
CHLOE
Chloe bags are still having a major moment and the signature bags will make a great addition to your closet. The most inexpensive options are the Faye Mini Leather and Suede Shoulder Bag set at $795 Faye Small Leather Bracelet Bag at $890. Other options include the Marcie Mini Textured-Leather Shoulder Bag ($890) and the C Leather Shoulder Bag ($990).
JACQUEMUS
You’ve definitely seen the teeny Jacquemus bags all over the ‘gram, and it’s been a huge year for the label overall. If you’d like some Jacquemus in your own closet, bags start at $227, with the Plaque Mini Bag. The Le Chiquiti Mini Bag is priced at $363 and Le Ceinture Bello Belt Bag at $401. You can also snag the Le Riviera Leather Shoulder Bag for $535.
BOTTEGA VENETA
Bottega Veneta’s revamp made another huge splash online this summer and fall, especially with the bags. The most affordable options are the Biletto Woven Zip-Top Pouch for $1,200 the Mini Cassette Crossbody Bag at $1,250. Following up is the Small Intrecciato Hobo Bag at $1,350, and the beloved Pouch Crossbody Bag at $1,520 (regular pouches are backordered until April 2020).
LOUIS VUITTON
LV’s most affordable bags are their classic logo styles. The Pouchette Accessories is $500 in the monogram canvas. Their second most inexpensive bag is the Speedy 25 also in the monogram canvas, priced at $1,050.
CHANEL
The most affordable Chanel bags are the Small Clutches and WOCs (wallets on chain.) The Small Clutch starts at around $1900 and the WOCs go from $1900 for this two tone style and $2400 for a quilted version.
