Halloween is right around the corner—literally. Some of us will be starting the festivities early and heading to some costume parties this weekend, and the actual holiday is only a few days away. For anyone who hasn’t had time to stock up on a costume yet, makeup is always a great back-up (or addition!) for creating a standout look. If you’re more into using Halloween as a major makeup moment, I’ve rounded up some tutorials to inspire you this year. These are some of the looks I’m loving on YouTube as of late, and you can totally try these at home. From Euphoria-inspired looks to skulls and more, you’re bound to watch to recreate at least one of these looks! Take a look and share your thoughts with me.
Euphoria-Inspired Makeup by Desi Perkins
If you were tuned into a fall TV schedule, I’m sure you probably watched Euphoria. The series quickly became one of the most talked-about shows of the season, and it was full of some major beauty moves. Euphoria-inspired makeup is everywhere now and it’s bound to be huge this Halloween. Here, Desi created a detailed eyeshadow look paired with a glossy lip while posing in a moodier background.
Vintage Show Girl by Nicole Guerriero
Nicole is one of the most creative beauty YouTubers out there, especially when it comes to Halloween. Over the years she’s created so many looks, and this showgirl look still has her own twist on it.
Glitter Skull by Chrisspy
Halloween is never mediocre for Chrisspy. She’s known for creating amazing looks for the holiday, and some even including special effects. Some of her most popular work includes a different variety of skull makeup. This year she put a spin on the trend by adding lots of color and glitter. It’s purple, feminine, and super pretty!
Lady Gaga by Patrick Starrr
Who doesn’t love a celebrity-inspired look? I’ve done some celebrity costumes in the past myself, including a throwback look of J.Lo’s! Patrick’s simple spin on Lady Gaga focuses all on the makeup here and that’s why I love it so much. It’s easy enough to recreate, but everyone will know who you are.
I’m Melting by Desi Perkins
I had to add a second look by Desi here because this melted look is so different! It was inspired by a photo she saw on Instagram and it has that pop-art vibe that a lot of costumes have today. She paired it with some sunglasses and a faux fur coat for it to be extra glam!
