With the summer season rolling up in the next few weeks, I’m getting excited embrace all of the warm weather vibes, and that means refreshing my collection of beauty products. Even though we’re still stuck inside and it’ll probably be awhile before we’ll be able to fully enjoy summer in all its golden goodness, but it doesn’t mean we can’t be glam in the comfort of our homes. Below, check out some products that are new to Sephora — and are currently in my cart.
Sephora Favorites Mini Summer Makeup Essentials Set
I always love shopping Sephora’s seasonal sets because they round up some of the best trendy products at that time. The Sephora Favorites Mini Summer Makeup Essentials Set has mini sizes of amazing skincare, body, hair, and makeup products that are perfect for beach days and traveling (when we can finally do both again). Some of my favorites include the Ouai Wave Spray, which gives you gorgeous windswept waves (even without wind or saltwater), Patrick Ta’s Major Glow Body Oil, and Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream.
Nars Orgasm X Cheek Palette
I’ve been a longtime fan of the Orgasm blush, and the Nars Orgasm X Cheek Palette gives me even more options for a full cheek look. It includes the OG Orgasm shade, Orgasm X (a new blush in the same family), and a highlighter inspired by both of those colors. I love that these powders have a luminescence to make my cheeks look youthful and glowy. Perfect for summertime!
Tweezerman 40th Anniversary Slant Tweezer
I already have a pair of Tweezerman tweezers, but if you haven’t tried them out yet, they’re definitely worth the investment. These tweezers are definitely pricier than other ones that you can pick up at the drugstore, but these really are so good. They’re super sharp so you can pick up each individual hair, and they’re especially great to have now since we won’t be able to get our brows done professionally for awhile.
Deborah Lippmann Nail Essentials Kit
Like my brows, my nails aren’t going to be getting professional care anytime soon. For that reason, I’ve been investing in quality polishes and tools like the ones in the Deborah Lippmann Nail Essentials Kit. Not only does this one include three staple polish colors and a top coat, but it also has a nail file, buffer, SPF hand cream, and nail polish remover.
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm
Of course, I had to include the newest launch from Summer Fridays, the Lip Butter Balm. I’m obviously biased, but this is my new go-to lip balm. It’s silky smooth and ultra nourishing without feeling greasy or sticky. I use it on its own for no-makeup days, or on top of lipstick and liner when I want to add some shine to my pout. Plus, the hint of vanilla makes this a super sweet treat for my lips no matter the season or time of day. And it’s finally back in stock at Sephora, so make sure you stock up while you can!
Heretic Mini Dirty Lemon Eau de Parfum Travel Spray
Everyone needs a summer fragrance, and I’m personally gravitating toward the Heretic Lemon Eau de Parfum. I love that this smells lemony and summery without being overly sweet or fruity. It also has notes of bergamot oil and sandalwood, which make it a much warmer citrus scent. The mini size is perfect for throwing in your bag and heading out, or you can keep a full sized bottle of it on your vanity.
Sephora Collection Body Massager
You all know that I love anything that can gift me with a few minutes of self care, and I love that this Sephora Collection Body Massager is so easy to use. It’s easy to roll in those places that are hard for a foam roller to reach, like around my neck and shoulders. Plus, at $15, you don’t have to spend a ton of money to indulge in a little R+R.
NuFace NuBody Challenge Kit
This one is definitely a splurge, but well worth the money. Everyone raves about NuFace’s facial microcurrent device, and now, they finally have one for the body. In conjunction with the included serum, which contains hyaluronic acid and other nourishing ingredients, the NuFace NuBody Challenge Kit helps target cellulite, uneven texture, and dryness.
Ouai Detox Shampoo
If you’re on the hunt for a different shampoo, you should definitely give Ouai’s Detox Shampoo a try. This new formula helps clarify and strengthen your hair while removing buildup. It works for all types of hair, but especially locks that are frizzy, color-treated, or lacking shine.
Goop G.Tox Ultimate Dry Brush
Summer is the season of laying out in the sun and getting your tan on, which also means that burns and dry, flaky skin can also become an issue. Dry brushing is a great way to exfoliate your skin and increase blood circulation. While some dry brushes don’t have a handle, the Goop G.Tox Ultimate Dry Brush does to make it easy to hold and get any hard-to-reach spots.
Let me know which of these products you’re stocking up on, and which ones you think I missed!
